In business, longevity often reflects more than success, it signals resilience, shared values, and the ability to evolve with time. For the Primary Group of Builders (PGB), reaching its 75th year represents not only a remarkable milestone but also a continuing journey shaped by purpose and community impact.

What began as a construction enterprise in Cebu has grown into a multi-sector organization with a footprint across construction, real estate, logistics, human capital development, and health and lifestyle services. Over the decades, the Group has steadily expanded its reach while remaining anchored in the principles that have guided it since its founding.

The anniversary celebration brought together the Group’s leadership and management teams, reflecting the collaborative culture that has long been central to PGB’s growth. Leading the occasion were members of the Board of Directors: Beatrice Anne Liu, Group Supply Chain Head and Corporate Integrator; Paulette D. Liu, Senior Vice President for Human Resources and Administration; Lillian Marie Liu, Senior Vice President for Finance and Group Comptroller; Stephen Charles Liu, President of PrimaryHomes and member of the Board; and William Christopher Liu Jr., Chairman and President of the Group. They were joined by management leaders from across the Group’s diverse industries, underscoring the strength of an organization built on integrated expertise.

One of the highlights of the celebration was the 75th Anniversary Photo Contest, which invited employees and enthusiasts to creatively capture the spirit of PGB’s core values: Pagsalig (Built on trust), Hiniusang Pagkugi ug Pagtutok (We keep going and get things done - together), and Pagpalambo (We strive to make things better). Out of 63 participants, Dexter Maneja emerged as the Grand Prize winner, followed by Seth Nuñez in second place and Marc Leo Layson in third. The initiative served as a meaningful reflection of the people and shared values that continue to define the Group’s culture.

While the anniversary honors a rich past, it also signals a forward-looking vision. As part of its anniversary year programs, the Group is set to undertake initiatives focused on community engagement and development, alongside strategic expansion across its sectors. Guided by its philosophy of Building Better Tomorrows, PGB continues to pursue innovation and progress while remaining grounded in the values that have sustained it for three quarters of a century.

Within the Group’s real estate cluster, PrimaryHomes embodies PGB’s 75-year journey by serving as a reliable partner for both homes and home investments, while turning shared expertise into vibrant, lasting communities. Leveraging the full capabilities of the wider organization, from construction to logistics and property management, the company delivers residential developments defined by consistent quality and timely completion. Anchored in its pursuit of Building Dreams for Generations, PrimaryHomes exemplifies the Group’s enduring commitment to creating communities where families can grow, connect, and make lasting memories.

As the Primary Group of Builders marks 75 years of growth, its story remains one of continuity and evolution. Rooted in trust and strengthened by collaboration across its diverse ecosystem of industries, the Group looks ahead to the decades to come, continuing its mission of shaping communities and creating opportunities for future generations.
